Bio’s Brutal Presidential Guards Kill 3 Sierra Leoneans at Home as 3-Day Mourning Begins
Quick Summary
Three Sierra Leoneans were gunned down to death yesterday in Freetown by Bio’s violent Presidential Guards as a 3-day national mourning commences.
Sierra Leone’s most popular social media activist and leader King Adebayor thought it wise to declare three days of national mourning beginning today to pray for those murdered yesterday by troops attached to the illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio. It saddens patriotic Sierra Leoneans to witness the cold-blooded murders of three compatriots staying in various homes away from the scenes where other patriotic Sierra Leoneans were protesting yesterday against the undemocratic governance of Maada Bio’s corrupt SLPP regime. The trio are believed to be SLPP party members and supporters ironically. What pains Sierra Leoneans most is the manner of their deaths caused by the gun-toting Presidential Guards who are made up of the rag-tagged cannibalistic Kamajor militias dressed in police and military uniforms. Other reliable reports say some of the Presidential Guard are mercenaries recruited from Gambia attached to Bio and his Gambian-born wife First Lady Fatima Jabbe Bio’s personal security. These are mercenaries secretly imported from Gambia a long time ago to provide personal security at the State House and the Presidential Lodge because Maada Bio does not trust Sierra Leone soldiers and police. The notoriety of Bio’s Presidential Guards cannot be over-emphasised considering the dubious roles they had played innumerable times including the murders of dozens of prisoners and a prison officer at Pademba Road Prison in 2020. Since then, the violent Presidential Guards have exhibited violence and assassination attempts on the life of the APC presidential candidate Dr Samura Kamara three times in recent months. (Photos: One of the other three killed yesterday. RIP. And the bullets used by the Presidential Guards).

Again, yesterday, unfortunately, the Bio’s blood-thirsty Presidential Guards reared their brutal heads to kill three more youths for no justifiable reason. Those shot to death by the irate Presidential Guards were staying at their various family homes in Freetown during the protest yesterday. Initially, everyone thought the SLPP government police and soldiers had indiscriminately fired shots at the three victims but investigations later showed that the Presidential Guards killed the three youths. One of the youths was painfully killed together with his father. What a pathetic state of affairs for Sierra Leone’s democracy and national security. Maada Bio has destroyed Sierra Leone. It was fitting that King Adebayor has called for three days of national mourning for those killed starting today.
The sounds of gunshots that backfired in the eastern parts of Freetown where most of the September 11 protests took place were beyond belief. It was like a war zone revisiting Sierra Leone once again. It was merely a protest organised by peaceful and armless civilians who are disgruntled with the Bio regime for so many reasons including the June 24, 2023, fraudulent elections that Maada Bio stole. Moyiba community was one of the many communities targeted by the Presidential Guards who were seen asking for members of the People’s Power in Politics PPP led by King Adebayor. Live bullets and tear gas canisters were used yesterday. It was clear, the security personnel were ordered by the unrecognised Sierra Leone President Bio to open fire on protesters who were merely demonstrating for the restoration of their electoral votes. (Photos: Brutal Bio deployed armed state security to counter the protest).

Everyone knows how the June 24, 2023 elections were stolen in broad daylight by Maada Bio in connivance with the Electoral Commission of Sierra Leone ECSL boss Mohamed Kenewui Konneh. The extra-judicial killings yesterday happened a day after Maada Bio had publicly promised that his police and soldiers would not shoot anyone during the demonstrations. It was another white lie told by the illegitimate leader. All the evidence of the killings has been forwarded to the relevant authorities abroad including the International Criminal Court ICC which is firmly focused on Bio for crimes against humanity.
It was the gallant individuals from Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide CSLW who on August 14, 2023, petitioned Maada Bio in The Hague for crimes against humanity. Four days later after the submission of the complaint letter to the ICC, Bio was invited by the ICC to meet Chief Prosecutor Mr Karim AA Khan KC in New York on September 19. Despite all these troubles hanging over Maada Bio’s tiny head, the illegitimate Sierra Leone President has continued to order his Presidential thugs to kill innocent Sierra Leoneans. Meanwhile, the protests will now turn into national mourning for those killed yesterday as announced by the most popular social media activist Adebayor, real name Mr William Kamara based in Holland. The struggle continues unabated. It was obvious that the protest yesterday strangulated the ailing economy further. Billions of Leones got lost as a result of the strike yesterday which saw all stores and offices shut and transportations halted.
