A few days ago, the SLPP government media idiots deliberately released misleading information about the alleged death of Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray which turned out to be white lies. Critical media outlets inside and outside Sierra Leone did not fall for the SLPP’s lies and quickly denounced the wrong information. Three days later, the stupid SLPP idiots made a turnaround and released information that Mohamed Kamarainba had been bailed after his lawyers had successfully applied for bail to be granted after nearly three years behind bars. What the earlier misinformation by the SLPP had produced is that the US government immediately put tremendous pressure on the Bio presidency to produce Kamarainba dead or alive. Little did the Bio’s state security realise that Kamarainba is also a United States citizen. The evil plans by the Bio media for critical media houses to swallow hook, line, and sinker backfired big time. Mr Kamarainba’s story was used as a distraction, sources say. Maada Bio and his wicked wife Fatima Jabbe Bio have blood on their hands for the numerous human rights abuses. Justice will prevail one day for all victims since 2018 including for Kamarainba.

Knowing full well that the September 11 protest date has provided that opportunity for the people to claim their voting mandates back, Maada Bio’s agents in and outside the country tried diversionary tactics to divert attention from the Monday demonstrations. No surprise, all of a sudden, the popular political detainee Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray’s name emerged for the wrong reasons. The SLPP Vuvuzelas reported his ‘Demise’ even though there have been contradictory messages about Kamarainba’s so-called ‘Death’.

At the time at least, the people of Sierra Leone should not have been left in the dark about the reported death of political detainee Mohamed Kamaraimba Mansaray. This vital information should not have been swept under the carpet by the callous Bio presidency. If Maada Bio does not respect the people, at least his violent-oriented SLPP regime should have respected the family and friends of Mr Kamarainba who had been unlawfully detained for over three years for a politically motivated and ridiculous rape case. Mohamed Kamarainba Mansaray has been granted bail pending his conviction. He filed eighteen grounds of appeal immediately after his conviction. His lawyer Dr Emmanuel Saff Abdulai moved the court and asked that Kamarainba be granted bail on the grounds of his present critical medical condition. Assisted by Alie T Turay Esq, James Bockarie Esq, and Mary Solomon Esq, Dr Abdulai told the court bail is a discretion guided by statute that his client has excellent and winnable. The law allows for the court to grant bail on compassionate grounds. After listening to the State Counsel, Yusuf I Sesay, the judge granted bail with the condition that the convict’s passport be with the court and a surety resident in Freetown.  Due to his severe medical condition, Kamarainba will continue to be hospitalized as he continues his medical treatment.
