ICC Invite Exposes More Hypocrites: Lawyer Basita is the Newest Bio Slave Who Cast Doubt on Bio’s ICC Invite
Quick Summary
More hypocrites are being uncovered by the hour thanks to the historic invitation of the illegal President Bio by the International Criminal Court ICC.
Slowly and slowly, like a pregnant snail crawling into the snail pen, the popular lawyer Basita Michael has finally laid bare her true colours after she shamelessly came out to throw doubts into the ICC invitation of the illegitimate President Maada Bio. Since the ICC invite emerged last week, there are many Bio slaves who are not only embarrassed and afraid of the ICC invitation of their paymaster Maada Bio but the ICC invite has also apparently exposed the nakedness of hypocrites who often pose as patriots and selflessness. (Photo: Shame that patriotic Sierra Leoneans have lost Basita Michael).
Luckily for the majority of Sierra Leoneans who had always admired these fakers and crackers over the years, the likes of Basita Michael have conspicuously brightened the dark corners to clearly see the hypocrites and parasites who have cleverly hidden their murky intentions thus far. From a brave legal mind, Basita Michael, who had captured the admiration of the majority of Sierra Leoneans for her blunt assessment and frank analyses of Julius Maada Bio’s SLPP barbaric regime in the past, has suddenly surfaced as a chameleon thereby reducing her admirable posture. Basita is now being hung in the hall of shame.
Basita who has rapidly snowballed into hypocrisy should realise that most Sierra Leoneans know what an invitation by the ICC means. Basita Micahel should equally realise that an ICC invitation for Heads of State is very rare in politics unless such an invitation has sufficient proof and suspicion to invite the suspect. Most citizens have no doubt that the ICC invite has an undertone that is worth investigating. It is insulting when Basita Michael adduced that the ICC invitation is speculative and irrational by some members of the opposition because they ‘jump to conclusions based on unfounded assumptions’. What a load of rubbish by lawyer Basita. (Photos: Patriots protested and handed OVER the petition letter to the ICC).

The reality is that the likes of Basita Michael, now a Maada Bio slave, are shocked that their paymaster has been invited to face the ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim AA Khan next month in New York. While patriotic Sierra Leoneans are fighting tooth and nail to bring justice to the thousands of innocent Sierra Leoneans killed extra-judicially by Maada Bio’s state security since 2018, the likes of Basita Michael have launched a campaign to smear the good efforts of patriots like Concerned Sierra Leoneans Worldwide who have successfully handed a petition complaint against the murderous Bio to the ICC in The Hague on August 14, 2023. Four days later, the ICC wrote Maada Bio. This is no coincidence Lawyer Basita. Thank God Maada Bio came to power in 2018, otherwise, Sierra Leoneans would never know the true hypocrites and enemies of the state. Read Basita blurring thus –
Basita Michael – Unfounded Speculations Surrounding ICC’s Outreach to President Bio
The recent revelation of a memo from the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), @KarimKhanQC, expressing a desire for a meeting with President Bio during the upcoming United Nations General Assembly (#UNGA) meeting in New York has generated a whirlwind of controversy. While speculation is a natural tendency in such situations, it is essential to address these claims with rationality and context, rather than jumping to conclusions based on unfounded assumptions. The prevailing assertion among some members of the opposition, that the @IntlCrimCourt prosecutor’s meeting with President Bio is indicative of an impending investigation against him and his government, lacks a substantive foundation. It is important to emphasize that such assumptions run counter to the ICC’s established practices and procedures. (Photo: The ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan did not invite Maada Bio for a cup of tea. This is serious business Lawyer Basita).

The ICC does not require a personal meeting with a head of state to declare a country as a situation in which it will initiate investigations. The Rome Statute, the founding document of the ICC, provides a clear framework for the commencement of investigations, and this process does not necessitate a face-to-face interaction between the prosecutor and a national leader. It is crucial to maintain a rational perspective on the situation. The ICC, as an impartial international judicial body, is duty-bound to adhere to established protocols and principles in its investigations. To assert that a mere meeting indicates an imminent investigation undermines the professionalism and integrity of the ICC, which is mandated to operate independently and transparently.
Past practices of the ICC further debunk the notion of a correlation between a meeting and impending investigations. The ICC follows a careful and well-defined procedure when determining whether to launch investigations. The Office of the Prosecutor conducts preliminary examinations to assess the credibility and gravity of potential crimes, which is a meticulous process that involves rigorous analysis of available evidence. This process is not influenced by personal meetings but rather by the legal criteria outlined in the Rome Statute. Drawing parallels with the ICC’s past engagements is essential in this context. The ICC has conducted investigations and prosecutions in situations around the world without the requirement of in-person meetings with leaders of the respective nations involved.
The court’s commitment to adhering to the Rome Statute’s provisions and its consistent application of due process underscores its commitment to impartiality and the rule of law. It is prudent to let the ICC perform its duties within the bounds of established international legal norms. Jumping to conclusions and fueling baseless claims can be counterproductive and detrimental to the efforts of the international community to ensure accountability for grave crimes. @PresidentBio must be allowed to engage in diplomatic dialogues without unnecessary speculations that may lead to unnecessary tensions.
