DEATH AND FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT BY SECRETARY GENERAL LANSANA DUMBUYA
It is with great sadness that the leadership of the All Peoples Congress Party announces the death and funeral arrangements of the Late Professor Monty Jones, Former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food Security.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to the bereaved families and all comrades of the party as we mourn with them, the loss of such a great father, husband and friend. In solemn grief, the leadership of the party is respectfully calling on the attention of comrades and stakeholders of the party to witness the laying-out ceremony as follows;
- On Wednesday 15th May 2024 there will be a laying out at his home at 14 Ocean Street, Regimanuel Gray, Freetown at 8 am- 9:30.
- And afterwards, the body will be taken to the party secretariat for the second laying-out at 10 am – 12 pm, respectively.
- And on the same date, at exactly 12:30 pm; the body will be laid at the St. Anthony Church at Brookfields for the funeral service.
- The body will now be taken to the resting place at the Kingtom Cemetery for burial.
