And the political transition of power from the illegal President Maada Bio to the legitimate Dr Samura Kamara will happen very shortly. Lots of positive things are happening in the background.

For nearly three bloody, retrogressive, and failed years under Julius Maada Bio’s misrule, the people of Sierra Leone have only been given hunger, disease, cocaine, unemployment, arbitrary arrests and detentions, and mass killings of innocent citizens.

Not to mention the lack of freedom of movement, lack of free speech and no freedom of expression, rife corruption, and so many other vices that brought Sierra Leone to its knees. It is virtually impossible for all those suspected of undermining the electoral process since 2018 up to the 2023 general and presidential elections to go scot-free. That is why the accountability basket is patiently waiting for the culprits of electoral justice. Lots of positive things are happening in the background.

Meanwhile, the time for the handing over of power is very near, and Maada Bio is aware of this inevitable development. The transition will be peaceful, unlike the expectation of some people that Bio will be forced to hand over. The end of Bio misrule is nearer.

Freedom is coming sooner than expected. Sierra Leoneans, especially those who believe in electoral justice, will celebrate very shortly, and the long-drawn-out economic suffering and social and political hardship since 2018, when Bio took power, will be a thing of the past. With the Tripartite Agreement moving majestically towards the restoration of democracy, the hope of the electorate is to gain what rightfully belongs to them. It invariably means that the result of the 2023 election is on the horizon. Lots of positive things are happening in the background.

In conclusion, the people who think the political transition of power will not take place are living in Cloud Cuckoo Land. The 2023 electoral thieves shall not succeed, and as a result, the accountability basket will take over to try the violators of the electoral process.
