The late Mrs Mariatu Turay is the younger sister of the London-based lawyer and politician, Mr Alpha Kholifa Koroma, who served as the former Chief Immigration Officer of Sierra Leone under the government of the late President Ernest Koroma. Late Mariatu, born in 1972, is survived by her husband and their beautiful daughter, based in the United States. May the soul of Mrs Mariatu Turay, nee Koroma, rest in perfect peace. Tomorrow, she will be buried in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

The funeral service will be held at the Fountain of Love Seventh-day Adventist Church in Wellington on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at 12.30 pm for the late Mrs Mariatu Turay, who passed away on July 11, 2025, aged 53 years. Interment will be at the Palmer Street Cemetery.

The entire family of the late Mrs Mariatu Turay at home and abroad wish to express their profound gratitude and appreciation to all who, in many ways, sympathised with them during her death. May God bless you all. The full programme is as follows thus –
