Deceitful Maada Bio, you can fool some people sometimes, but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Maada’s propagandists are still living in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Rather than say the truth about his real motive for the Nigeria visit, they continue to play mind games.

Here are the facts surrounding Maada Bio’s impromptu visit to Nigeria. ECOWAS summoned him to an exclusive meeting to sort out the final and last arrangement before the peaceful democratic transfer of power takes place. And very soon, it is believed. Everyone knows the Maada stole the June 24, 2023, elections from the real winner, Dr Samura Kamara.

The obstinate Maada Bio should have gone to Nigeria last week for this all-important meeting, but his exhibition of stubbornness prevented him from showing up. However, the Bio propagandists are peddling more lies to the public by saying that his Nigeria visit is about ‘Feed Salone’ Agenda. What a ridiculous misinformation to spread around. How can the ‘Feed Salone’ meeting take place in Nigeria? Is it the ‘Feed Salone’ or ‘Feed Africa’ meeting?

The ‘Feed Africa’ Agenda is more sensible to be convened in Nigeria than the ‘Feed Salone’ Agenda held in Nigeria. Bio’s latest mind games have backfired. Too many lies can expose the liars. Lying cannot be consistent. You cannot hold the ‘Feed Salone’ meeting in Nigeria.

Impossible! Such a meeting should be held in Freetown. Too many lies can spoil the broth. The SLPP/Paopa brief press statement yesterday made no sense. It reads that IITA invited Bio for the ‘Feed Salone’ in Nigeria. Following is the brief statement: –

“From March 3 to 6, IITA is excited to host President Bio at their headquarters in Ibadan, Nigeria. This visit aims to explore fresh pathways to elevate agricultural innovations tailored for Sierra Leone while collaborating to advance the Feed Salone Agenda.”

Sierra Leoneans are hopeful that electoral justice has finally succeeded and that the transition of power first heralded by the Liberian President Joseph Boakai a couple of weeks ago has finally started knocking on the doorsteps. Welcome to freedom and democracy.
