Youyi Building Hit by Low-Magnitude Earthquake on Tuesday; Bio’s Bankrupt Sierra Leone Wants to Ask for Foreign Aid! Odd Opportunity to Get Cash

By Abu Shaw London

15 October 2026

The cash trapped illegal Sierra Leone regime of Julius Maada Bio, known as the cocaine king, is looking out for any opening, pathetic or ridiculous, to go cap in hand for global aid.

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, a low-magnitude earthquake originating in the Atlantic Ocean suddenly shook the Youyi Building, and panic-stricken workers and visitors ran down the stairs to escape to safety outside. (Photo: Dilapidated Youyi Building).

Luckily, the tremor that shook the Youyi Building within a few seconds did not cause serious problems. But the panic was enough to frighten workers and visitors who had gathered in the car park and on the streets to discuss what had just happened.

Social media was awash with videos and pictures of the badly maintained Youyi Building being evacuated after the low-magnitude earthquake had struck the building, which triggered the convulsion, mild movements within the earth’s crust or little volcanic action.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. The Youyi Building earthquake ended suddenly and quickly, as it had started. But latest information reaching the Organiser newspaper the useless SLPP/Paopa regime is thinking about appealing for global grants to check the suitability of the building. What a daft idea being thought about by the bankrupt, failed and cocaine regime of Maada Bio. Such an odd, opportunistic, selfish, exploitative policy will not hold water. The SLPP regime should wake up from deep sleep and face reality. No foreign money is coming. After all, the Youyi Building has not been maintained for ages.

The low-magnitude earthquake on Monday, October 13, has been confirmed by the United States Geological Survey USGS. Most importantly, the US Geological Survey made it clear that the earthquake that hit the Atlantic Ocean was low-magnitude.

Reports say that the low-magnitude earthquake that affected the Youyi Ministerial Building in Freetown even affected faraway Panama. Because the earthquake experience at the Youyi Building is frightening, it does mean that the bankrupt Bio regime should capitalise on it to make money.

Watching the video showing scared workers at the Youyi Building rushing out of the edifice is a reminder of the danger that earthquakes pose, whether low or high. Yet, selfish governance rather than total care for the people has always been the case under the failed Bio administration and the Ernest Koroma era.

International opportunism by Bio’s corrupt bunch is not strange. During the COVID-19 outbreak, the evil Bio administrators took full advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to go cap in hand to beg for global financial assistance. Frankly, there was no real COVID in Sierra Leone. (Photo: Sordid Youyi Building).

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.
