Private Bank Accounts and Assets of Maada Bio and His Stooges Frozen as More Names Named in the Ban

Quick Summary

Every day, the noose is tightening on the illegitimate Sierra Leone leader Maada Bio, and his corrupt electoral thieves as sanctions start to bite.

The majority of Sierra Leoneans are happy about the embargo. The imposition of sanctions on the Bio presidency by the United States government and others is welcome news as far as most Sierra Leoneans are concerned. Making it official this week for Maada Bio and cohorts, the United States administration imposed travel restrictions on targeted officials of the Bio government including their family members in reaction to the fraudulent elections held on June 24, 2023. Additionally, the embargo is now targeting asset seizure and the freezing of private bank accounts of SLPP government officials who played pivotal roles in undermining the democratic processes in Sierra Leone in the last five years of Bio’s misrule and maladministration. Shock is an understatement in the corridors of power since the announcement of the American sanctions and other financial restrictions, as the SLPP regime deciphers the wave of sanctions from the UN and other international partners in the last couple of weeks.

 

 

 

Prior to the travel ban and assets and bank accounts freeze, the socio-economic embargo on the Bio presidency started when the United States historically withheld over 400 million US dollars from the Millennium Challenge Corporation MCC, grants that Maada Bio and his thieves had longed to receive. The United Nations Development Programme UNDP also stopped financial grants to the Bio presidency because of the broad daylight robbery of the June 24 elections. Meanwhile, more names of individuals who undermine the electoral process in Sierra Leone have made the US list including Bio, his ‘Mob Justice’ wife Fatima Jabbe Bio, and so on.

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure.
