Highest Diplomat in West Africa, Dr Simão, UNOWAS Chief, Advised: “Let’s Follow the 2023 Elections to Strengthen Sierra Leone’s Democratic Journey”

By Abu Shaw London

28 October 2026

The topmost UNOWAS chief in West Africa, Dr Leonardo Santos Simão, has reminded all political actors in Sierra Leone and others of the significance of the June 24, 2023, elections.

For Dr Leonardo Santos Simão, Special Representative of the Secretary-General to the United Nations Office for West Africa and the Sahel & Chair of the Cameroon-Nigeria Mixed Commission, reminding Sierra Leone politicians and others about the 2023 elections is vital. (Photo: UNOWAS boss Dr Simão).

The most important diplomat in West Africa, Dr Leonardo Santos Simão, UNOWAS Chief, advised on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the Bio and Ernest Peace Conference at Bintumani: “Let’s follow the 2023 elections to strengthen the trend in Sierra Leone’s democratic journey.”

This advice from Dr Simão was a bombshell that shattered the Bio/EKB optimism about their 2028 agenda at the Bintumani meeting on Monday. In fact, it dropped like dynamite, leaving the SLPP bandits and APC traitors in the audience completely shocked and in despair over their 2028 agenda.

As for the 2023 Sierra Leone patriots, the golden advice uttered by the UNOWAS boss was like manna dropped from heaven to the earth beneath. The advice was an optimistic note for the majority of Sierra Leoneans who voted for Dr Samura Kamara, the president-elect in 2023, meaning that power transfer is in sight. The UNOWAS chief did not mince his words. He told the so-called Peace Conference in Freetown organised by the 2028 idiots Julius Maada Bio and Ernest Bai Koroma to follow the 2023 elections to strengthen Sierra Leone’s democratic journey.

Dr Simão said, after being introduced to the podium by AYV reporter Umaru Fofana, a Maada Bio BBC journalist: “The United Nations is more concerned for the people of Sierra Leone. The suffering masses are the concern of the international community.”

“The Agreement for National Unity at the Bintumani Hotel on October 18, 2023, shows that dialogue remains the most effective pathway for resolving political disagreements. It shows that protection is always better in crisis management to contribute to dialogue and national cohesion.

“I wish to commend the government of Sierra Leone and the All Peoples Congress APC party and the people of Sierra Leone. I commend the parties for signing the Government of National Unity. It is important to resolve problems through dialogue rather than confrontation,” Simão noted. (Photo: President-elect Dr Samura Kamara is the man of the people).

Almost none of the guests invited talked about the 2028 elections. EBK and his boss, Bio, set up the bogus Bintumani Peace Conference to betray the 2023 elections and promote their 2028 agenda. But it flopped. UNOWAS boss did acknowledge EBK for protocol reasons, but nothing to prove that EBK is a respected person.

Dr Simão uttered this 2023 statement in front of the SLPP top-ranking crooks, the traitorous APC executives, parliamentarians, SLPP civil societies, fake media, etc., as independent observers in the hall could hear a pin drop. Silence was deafening as Dr Simão spoke the truth about the importance of the 2023 polls.

As the most important diplomat in West Africa, by virtue of representing the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Gutteres directly in the sub-region, Dr Simão – who has no middleman between him and Antonio Gutteres – should be taken seriously when he speaks.

Sierra Leoneans still remember the UNOWAS Representative at the SLAM-Global Zoom conference last year, Mr Julius-Bekong-Njingeng, Head of the Sierra Leone Desk at UNOWAS, when he said that “The Tripartite Agreement is imperative and non-negotiable.” President-elect Dr Samura Kamara will be sworn in shortly.

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.
