ECOWAS Elects New Chair in President Faye; Frantic Bio/Ernest Lobby Fails; Cocaine Bio Dumped in the Dustbin of History; Restore Democracy Next

Politics

By Abu Shaw London

20 July 2026

Democracy can only be restored and implemented in full and without delay by genuine democrats. Fake Democrats like Bio are enemies of democracy.

It is no coincidence that the newly elected ECOWAS Chairman, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye of Senegal, is a pure democrat, a role model in Africa who needs to be emulated for good governance, law and order, and human rights enhancement. (Photo: President Faye received the ECOWAS crown from cocaine king Maada Bio yesterday in Lungi).

Sierra Leone is a very lucky country, even in adversity, hardship, and death traps initiated by the former useless ECOWAS Chairman Julius Maada Bio, a murderous Sierra Leone politician who has plunged the country into decadence politically, economically, and in human terms.

But today, the suffering people of Sierra Leone are breathing a great sigh of relief. When news broke out yesterday that Senegal has claimed the coveted ECOWAS chair, delight and fantastic joy spread in the length and breadth of Sierra Leone and beyond. (Photos: The evil Ernest Koroma, centre, came from Nigeria to lobby for cocaine Bio. APC slaves, Lansana Dumbuya and wicked Osman Yansaneh, right, yesterday. And President-elect Dr Samura Kamara has won the war).

Patriotic Sierra Leoneans in the diaspora are also expressing happiness for seeing the back of the devil called Maada Bio by wholeheartedly welcoming the new ECOWAS chairman, President Faye, an astute politician of exemplary status for democracy and humanity.

Undoubtedly, Sierra Leone will benefit from the new ECOWAS chairman from Senegal, and as God Almighty has destined, the long-awaited democracy in Sierra Leone that Maada Bio and the traitorous APC collaborators had stolen from the people will be restored shortly.

Inevitably, the political transition of power from the electoral thief Maada Bio to the legitimate President-elect Dr Samura Kamara is now a foregone conclusion. Highly placed sources say that the first policy of President Faye is to democratise West Africa. (Photos: Sengeh, Juldeh, Ceebah, Fatima with long faces. Power gone).

President Faye will apparently start by democratising Sierra Leone. Cocaine king Maada Bio yesterday publicly said he was not a happy man. That was a big moment during the ECOWAS summit in Lungi as tension mounted. It was a clear sign that Bio had lost the ECOWAS chair.

The election for the ECOWAS top job was one-way traffic. All the Francophone countries and all the Anglophone countries uniquely voted for Faye. A total block votes against Bio, which shows that the entire ECOWAS family wanted Bio, the pariah of West Africa, to go away forever.

The emergence of President Faye would see a major development in ECOWAS in terms of an increase in membership of the regional block. Today, ECOWAS has far fewer member nations than years gone by. (Photos: Evil Ernest and witch Fatima Bio and the APC traitors waiting for EBK yesterday).

Mauritania was the first nation to leave ECOWAS, and a few years ago. Later, Burkina Faso, Niger, and Mali withdrew their membership for political and military reasons two to three years ago. But with President Faye at the helm, all four nations are highly likely to rejoin ECOWAS soon.

On December 26, 1999, Mauritania withdrew from ECOWAS. Mauritania did not give any reason for the withdrawal. Arabic-speaking Mauritania was one of the founding members of ECOWAS in 1975 and withdrew in December 2000. (Photos: President Adama Barrow, President Faye, President Mamady Doumbouya and former ECOWAS President Dr Alieu Touray replaced).

If the four nations rejoin, ECOWAS will balloon to 16 countries, a united front that will develop the region politically, economically, and democratically. Other ECOWAS nations include Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, the Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.

Only a genuine democrat like Faye would restore ECOWAS to its past glory. Not the illegal President Bio and ex-ECOWAS Chair, who was unfit to chair the regional body. Shame on Ernest and co for lobbying unsuccessfully; now, President-elect Dr Samura Kamara will take power soon. Restoration of democracy on the horizon.

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.
