Bio’s Sierra Leone is Centre of Drugs Cartel in West Africa: Guinea, Senegal, Gambia, Liberia, Burkina Faso Feeling the Pinch
Quick Summary
Sierra Leone is today a disgrace in the eyes of the international community for occupying the shameful position as the centre of the drugs cartel in West Africa.
The resurgent of drugs smuggling has shamed Sierra Leone. The unelected Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio is totally blamed for the escalation of drugs smuggling. Sadly, Sierra Leone has become the hub of these dangerous drugs. (Photo: Sierra Leoneans arrested in Senegal).
Drug baron Maada Bio is solely and wholly responsible for Sierra Leone to be described in such a humiliating way because the increase in drugs smuggling happened in the six and a half years of the Bio presidency.
Now, many countries in West Africa have raised serious concerns over the emergence of dangerous drugs in their countries exported from Sierra Leone. The latest nation to arrest Sierra Leoneans with drugs is Senegal.
Reports say Senegalese police caught five in possession of illegal drugs into their country. The Senegal incident happened a few days after the Sierra Leone Ambassador to Guinea Alimamy H Bangura was arrested with 380 kilograms of cocaine. (Photo: Cocaine Ambassador Bangura).

As well as seven million dollars cash found in his diplomatic vehicles after the vehicles crossed Pamlap into Guinea territory from Sierra Leone. The uproar has captivated the attention of global partners and the FBI has intervened.
Gambia is the other country that has also accused Sierra Leone of exporting the dangerous Kush and Tramadol drugs in to their country a few months ago. This accusation was made by the Gambian police and even parliamentarians raised the issue in parliament.
News of drugs smuggling from Sierra Leone was reported two years ago in Burkina Faso, where a vehicle carrying loads of illegal substances believed to be dangerous drugs was apprehended. Reports said the vehicle came from Sierra Leone.
Ordinary Sierra Leoneans are ashamed that Maada Bio has plunged their country into the limelight for the wrong reasons. In Sierra Leone, thousands of youths have lost their lives because of Kush’s drugs. But the Bio presidency does not care. (Photo: VP Juldeh and Maada, the drugs barons).

Neighbouring Liberia has also complained bitterly about the exportation of the dangerous and illegal Kush and Tramadol substances into their country from Sierra Leone. Today, innocent Sierra Leoneans are suffering in Liberia as a result
Worse of all, Bio’s family members are totally involved in the drugs trade. For instance, Bio’s sister Admire Bio has erected factories inside Sierra Leone to manufacture Kush, Cocaine, and Tramadol for local and export purposes.
The Vice President Juldeh Jalloh is the kingpin of the drugs cartel in Sierra Leone. The police and soldiers and almost all the internal stakeholders in the country are all involved in this nefarious and dangerous illegal drugs business.
Things have got worse following the economic and financial embargo imposed on Maada Bio’s illegal regime by the international community because of the fraudulent elections on June 24, 2923 which Maada Bio and the Electoral Commission ECSL publicly stole.
