No matter how long the night is, daylight will surely come”. I have the pleasure to share the good news with fellow Sierra Leoneans that Julius Maada Bio has been fully profiled by the Central Intelligence Agency in the US for the attention of the ICC.  As we speak, a dossier of the violent track record of Maada Bio dating back to 1992, highlighting the role he played in:

1. The extrajudicial killings of Bambay Kamara and others;
2. His violent conduct in America which led to his deportation
3. His subsequent ban from entering the US
4. The atrocities he and his men committed during the past five years he served as president.

Some people may wonder why Maada Bio needs to be profiled. Well, it is a normal practice here in the West to get a track record of the person being investigated in a criminal matter, so they know who they are dealing with. Let me assure fellow citizens that the days of impunity are over. In addition to the plethora of evidence submitted by Concerned Sierra Leoneans to the ICC during their demonstration at the Hague earlier this month, satellite images and video footage showing atrocities committed by the Bio regime have also been forwarded to the ICC by a source (name withheld) to build a very strong case against Maada and his thugs.

Rest assured Sierra Leoneans, the time for accountability is here and there’s no way they’re going to escape. Fingers crossed and with God being our helper, those who committed crimes against humanity will face justice; all of them. Long live Sierra Leone!!! Avan, Atlanta – Georgia 31st August 2023.
