AU Sent Gabonese President Nguema Yesterday to Warn Illegal President Bio to Quit; Bio Went AWOL! Democracy Restoration is a Matter of a Short Time

Politics

By Abu Shaw London

3 August 2026

The restoration of democracy in Sierra Leone is coming closer by the hour. It is just a matter of short-time before the transition of power happens.

Yesterday, a giant step towards the transition of power from the illegitimate President Julius Maada Bio to the legitimate President-elect Dr Samura Kamara took place when news emerged about the arrival of the President of Gabon, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. (Photo: SLPP VP Juldeh received President Nguema).

In fact, two delegations arrived yesterday. One was from the African Union, represented by the Gabonese President, and the other came from The Gambia. President Adama Barrow did not come, but he sent a delegation to Sierra Leone.

The main delegation from Gabon represented the African Union, while the Gambian delegation represented ECOWAS by virtue of being a member of the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS. (Photo: Juldeh strangely welcomed President Nguema. Where was Bio?).

It is not clear why the Gambian delegation came, but it is clear that the Gabonese President, Oligui Nguema, came on behalf of the African Union to deliver an important message to Maada Bio, who publicly stole the June 24, 2023 elections. But the illegal President Bio was nowhere to be seen. A classic example of Bio AWOL internally this time in far-away Bonthe in a canoe.

Both delegations landed at Lungi International Airport separately yesterday. President Oligui Nguema and delegation reportedly arrived first, and later the Gambian delegation landed. Both delegations were lodged at the Presidential Lodge in Lungi after the red carpet guard of honour for President Nguema.

The illegal Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh welcomed the Gabonese President and his delegation, who were brought by the Gabonese Presidential jet. Subsequently, photos made the rounds showing the SLPP VP Juldeh sitting and having tête-à-tête with President Nguema. (Photos: Bio was AWOL yesterday. Bio ran away from the AU messenger. Another AWOL).

It beggars belief that Maada Bio was not present at the airport to welcome President Nguema. Strangely, Bio sent his cocaine VP, Juldeh, to do the welcoming and even sat together with President Nguema for photos. Yet, the fake SLPP media continue to say President Nguema was on an official state visit. This is not the first time Presidents and other leaders have been sent to warn Bio.

Diplomatic sources reveal the real reason for the impromptu visit. They believed that the Gabonese President Nguema came to warn the illegal President Bio about the imminent transfer of power, which must be done peacefully to prevent a forceful and bloody one shortly. Stubborn individuals always end up on the gallows.

This message remains classified even though observers say it is not unconnected with democratic governance in Sierra Leone. Nearly two weeks after Senegal President Bassirou Diomaye Faye took over from Bio as ECOWAS Chairman, positive actions have occurred to restore democracy.

This week, the ECOWAS Commission deployed peacekeeping forces into Guinea-Bissau to democratise the ECOWAS nation. Now, suffering Sierra Leone voters of the 2023 elections are hoping to see ECOWAS soldiers deployed in Sierra Leone too as soon as possible, in accordance with the agreement already signed. It is just a matter of time before it happens.

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.
