Unsurprisingly, only the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio is AWOL, running to and fro, chasing shadows in the corridors of the UNGA hall, foolishly looking for investors, most of whom have left New York, let alone the UN, where cleaners remain to tidy up the hall. The last three to four days were the perfect time at the UNGA for world leaders, the sober-minded ones, of course, to have conducted their networking with big businesses, billionaire investors, and progressive governments for investments to improve their people and countries. These opportunity days have gone.

During these vital days, the cocaine leader from Sierra Leone, Maada Bio, was wasting his time trying to have photo opportunities with the American President Donald John Trump and with other world and African Presidents and Prime Ministers, but all of Bio’s efforts failed. By the end of the summit, Maada Bio did not sign any investment opportunities, unlike his colleagues in Africa such as Guinea, Liberia, Ghana, and Kenya and so on, who struck billions of dollars’ worth of investments for their various countries and compatriots back home.

Now, poor Maada Bio is running helter-skelter, looking out for any remaining investors for Sierra Leone. What a waste of time for Bio, who faced the worst humiliation in living memory as a president who attended the UN General Assembly.

Bio was isolated big time by all the world leaders, including the African leaders, who did not take Bio’s presence seriously. They all know that Bio is illegal for stealing the June 24, 2023 elections from the legitimate winner, Dr Samura Kamara. Every leader at the UNGA gave Maada Bio a cold shoulder, leaving the cocaine president distraught, confused, disgraced, and lonely. Any time Bio joins his colleagues at the table, they will give him civilised snobbery like a pariah or like an infectious virus and move away from him.

The biggest shock encountered by Maada Bio at the UNGA was when President John Mahama of Ghana organised a brief get-together for African leaders, and he bluntly refused to invite Maada Bio to attend. Reports say cocaine baron Bio was really shocked and embarrassed to be left out.

As we go to press last night, the real whereabouts of Maada Bio are still unknown. Is he still roaming around the UNGA hall? Or has he gone to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, where he left his hired flight? Or perhaps he has flown to Turkey en route to Freetown? While Bio was AWOL, all the other world leaders and African leaders have returned to their respective countries with fat contracts from foreign investors for the benefit of their peoples. No wonder the Guineans gave their President Mamady Doumbouya a rousing welcome in Conakry upon his return.

It was odd that Bio was missing in action at UNGA, where serious African leaders networked with top external stakeholders for socio-economic multilateral contracts for the benefit of their citizens. As Bio continues to destroy Sierra Leone, the UNGA conference has ended with Bio leaving empty-handed and he is presently AWOL.

What have the good people of Sierra Leone done to annoy the Almighty God so much that untold suffering has gripped every nook and cranny of the country? Over 95% of Sierra Leoneans are today starving, sick, jobless, drug-addicted, traumatised, and stressed daily. (Photos: Bio and Guinean President Mamady Doumbouya. Less than 5% of the population is enjoying life in the country. They have stashed billions in stolen cash, eat five times a day, fly abroad for medication, have children educated at private schools at home and abroad, and have enriched themselves by selling drugs to youths, and so on. They do not care about the welfare of the people.

No wonder the chief architect of Sierra Leone’s troubles, Maada Bio, is being isolated on the world stage because the international community is aware of his bad governance, violent nature, electoral fraud and graft. Today, Bio has few good friends worldwide.

What a sorry state of affairs for Sierra Leone. For eight bloody years, especially in the last three deplorable years, Bio and his SLPP/APC bandits have deliberately destroyed the country beyond recognition. The world knows it. That’s why the world imposed stiff sanctions on Bio’s failed regime.

Three problems in one for Bio: stealing the June 24, 2023 elections, human rights abuses, and the narco trade imports and exports propelled by his son-in-law Jos Leijdekker, Europe’s most wanted drug fugitive. Isolated, Bio has yet to return home. What a waste of time at the UNGA 81.
