Mob justice Fatima Jabbe Bio is presently hosting five former African First Ladies in Freetown. This makes Fatima Bio officially the former First Lady.
This is how she should be rightly called because her crook husband, Julius Maada Bio, was never elected last year. By being host, Mob Justice Fatima Bio has sent the wrong message to her SLPP admirers who believed she was still the First Lady. Not anymore, as she is now joining five other former First Ladies in an Ex-First Ladies meeting in Freetown. As her unelected hubby Maada is yet to be congratulated after last year’s disputed elections, it’s no surprise Fatima Bio is now host to former First Ladies. (Photo: Madam Nippe Fatmata Momoh).
Wonders never end, and certain puzzling messages come in mysterious ways. Mob justice Fatima Jabbe Bio has fallen into this latest puzzle. The meeting which started yesterday in Freetown has more puzzling impressions than meets the eye. Unsurprisingly, the SLPP media are keeping quiet about this meeting. Fatima Bio, popularly known as Mob Justice for her violent-oriented outburst, is reluctantly hosting five former First Ladies from Africa. (Photo: Ex-First Lady Fatima Jabbe Bio).

The guests are led Mrs Simone Gbagbo of Ivory Coast. Her husband, Laurent Gbagbo is known for his stubbornness to vacate the Presidency that landed him behind bars at the ICC in The Hague. Today, he is a free man. The other First Ladies include Madam Nippe Fatmata Momoh, the widow of the former Sierra Leone President’s late Major General Joseph Saidu Momoh. The other First Ladies who arrived on Wednesday to attend the coalition meeting include Lady Chilel Jawara, wife of the former President of Gambia late Dauda Kaibara Jawara; Madam Chantal Yayi of the Republic of Benin; Madam Lobbo Traore Toure, wife of former Malian President Amadou Tumani Toure and Madam Nippe Fatmata Shaw Momoh. It was Fatima Bio’s involvement in the meeting as host that caught the attention of many political analysts. Why should Fatima Bio, who still thinks she is Sierra Leone First Lady, be part of a meeting involving former First Ladies? There is only one explanation for this scenario. It means Fatima Bio is now considered as a former First Lady in cognisant of her husband Maada being an unelected President last year. (Photo: Mrs Gbagbo).

The message from this meeting is an indirect message coming from the international community to show that Maada Bio’s regime is not recognised because he did not win the June 24, 2023 elections which the APC leader Dr Samura Kamara won. Reports say Fatima Bio reluctantly agreed to host the guests in Freetown after she had delayed for weeks to agree. It is a worrying trend for the Bios and SLPP regime. It is even more worrying considering the current Tripartite situation blowing against Maada Bio. According to social media activist Ambassador Alie, who is also the Secretary General of the APC Council of Media Bloggers and Auxiliary, Fatima Bio finally agreed, though reluctantly, on 18 November, 2024 to host the guests. That was after Madam Nippe Fatmata Momoh held talks with Fatima Bio, who was then briefed about the Women’s Coalition.
Why didn’t Mob Justice Fatima Bio host the meeting during her husband’s legitimate first term in office? Fatima Bio is aware of the negative impact it would create to agree to host the former First Ladies. How come Fatima Bio is hosting the former First Ladies now, at a time when her beleaguered husband Maada Bio is fighting for international recognition? Today, SLPP supporters are in despair that Fatima has shown that Maada is not the legitimate president. Electoral Justice has won. It is just a matter of time.
