One of the guests in Samoa to attend the Commonwealth meeting is the illegal Sierra Leone President Maada Bio who stole last year’s elections in broad daylight. In reality, the illegitimate President Bio has blood on his hands, is an anti-democrat, an evil politician who believes in human rights violations, a champion of genocide with an insatiable desire to commit crimes against humanity. According to Wikipedia, Samoa is a small island country in the central South Pacific Ocean. It is made up of an archipelago of nine islands, four of which are inhabited. The two largest islands are Savai’i and Upolu. Samoa sits about halfway between New Zealand and Hawaii. This is where the Commonwealth of Nations is hosting world leaders, including King Charles. Sierra Leone is a pivotal member of the Commonwealth that joined the Commonwealth on April 27, 1961, becoming the 13^th country to do so. Sierra Leone has today undergone and continues to experience the bitterest of socio-economic hardships, untold sufferings, mass killings in unmarked graves, arbitrary arrests and detentions, tribalism, regionalism, nepotism, rife corruption and a regime that lacks global recognition for stealing 2023 elections.

Also, under Maada Bio’s bad governance, police brutality, cannibalising human organs and vices that damage the progress of a nation have become the rule rather than the exception. And unfortunately, Sierra Leone, under the wicked Bio presidency since April 4, 2018, has gone from bad to worse. Stealing the June 24, 2023 elections crowned Maada Bio’s barbarism. Today, suffering Sierra Leoneans are calling on the international community of world leaders gathering in Samoa 2024 Commonwealth of Nations meeting to know that Maada Bio is not representing Sierra Leone after stealing last year’s presidential elections. The actual winner, Dr Samura Kamara, leader of the APC party, is still fighting to protect the people’s votes by instituting the Peace and National Unity Bintumani Agreement.

This has led to the current Tripartite Committee’s recommendations, 84 in all, to make sure electoral justice and democracy are restored in Sierra Leone. Thankfully, the global partners led by ECOWAS, through the sponsorship of the United Nations Security Council, are keenly observing and monitoring and supervising the fragile situation in Sierra Leone. The ECOWAS Stabilisation forces have been mandated to resolve the instability in Sierra Leone. As world leaders gather in Samoa for the Commonwealth summit, the suffering people of Sierra Leone are calling on the Commonwealth leaders to hasten the eviction of Maada Bio from State House in order to prevent a new bloody war in the country. Electoral justice is the only solution and the people are ready to pounce anytime now.

The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting CHOGM summit in Samoa is expected to take place in Apia, Samoa between October 21 and 26, 2024. Maada Bio is in Samoa primarily to get international recognition rather than to seek the interests of Sierra Leone. Photo opportunity like taking one with King Charles is central to Maada Bio’s ambition in the Samoa meeting.
