Countdown to ECOMISIL: 3 Days to Go as US Signed MCC Funds; Only Foreign NGOs Shall Touch the MCC Funds, Not Corrupt Bio

The fervent prayers by suffering Sierra Leoneans have been answered after Congress and Senate approved and signed the MCC Funds.
Thank God, the corrupt hands of Julius Maada Bio will never touch the MCC Funds. The approved 480 million US dollars of the Millennium Challenge Corporation MCC Fund shall be used for development purposes in Sierra Leone. The good news for the impoverished citizens in the majority is that the MCC money will never touch the palms of the illegitimate SLPP regime of Maada Bio. Despite the massive bribery by SLPP for the MCC cash, Bio will never physically handle the MCC Funds. This is happening as the countdown to the arrival of the ECOWAS Troops closes in. (Photo: MCC CEO Alice Albright and SLPP Finance Minister Fantamadi Bangura signed as Ambassador Bryan Hunt and Maada Bio watched).
Fantastic news from Washington DC after the cross-party in USA signed the MCC Funds even though some supporters of the SLPP/Paopa regime do not really understand the circumstances for the approval of the funding. Despite the short-lived happiness presently going on within the SLPP/Paopa colony that Congress and Senate have approved and signed the MCC Funds, the fact of the matter is that the disbursements of the money will be to Non-Governmental Organisations NGOs only and not to corrupt SLPP regime. Therefore, the MCC money is safe for the people.
Reports say, not all NGOs operating in Sierra Leone will in fact qualify as recipients for the disbursements of the MCC Funds because the MCC has more confidence in handing the money to foreign NGOs to develop Sierra Leone rather than to local NGOs as the latter are not trustworthy. Also, the MCC Funds approved and signed in America are intrinsically linked with the full implementation of the Tripartite recommendations and democracy. The most important thing here is that the MCC Funds will not reach the filthy hands of Maada Bio and his fraudulent SLPP caboodle.

Moreover, the immediate approval of the MCC Funds was due to Congress and Senate going on recess in preparation for the November 5, 2024 presidential elections in the US. The MCC officials thought is wise to sign the MCC documents now, otherwise the people of Sierra Leone would have forfeited the money, thereby losing electricity development and other facets of developments. Maada Bio and his SLPP delegation are distraught that the MCC Money would not pass through their corrupt hands of the SLPP regime, which the whole world, including the USA, consider as illegitimate due to the fraudulent June 24, 2023 elections in Sierra Leone.
It is an astronomical lie that the MCC funds have been and signed primarily to be handled and controlled by Bio’s regime. No way. Yet, the illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio has successfully used corrupt media houses and public relations officers’ PROs to propagate that the MCC Funds would be physically handed over to them. Maada Bio will never touch the 480 million dollars live. The money would be passed on to foreign NGOs to develop the electricity sector in Freetown. Who does not know that media houses like AYV Media Empire owned by Anthony Navo, the SLBC etc. and Dr Sylvia Blyden are the mouthpieces for Bio?
From the USA, where Bio’s SLPP delegation and the traitorous APC Executives have been busy lobbying for weeks to receive the MCC funds, there are competent information filtering from Congress and the Senate that the US government has finally agreed to disburse the MCC Funds to an independent foreign firm to help the people of Sierra Leone. Today, Maada Bio and his delegation are visibly unhappy for not having the right to touch and misuse the money as they had planned all along. This is good news for Sierra Leone. The fake impression that the international community has recognised Bio’s regime because of the MCC Funds is another faux pas.

In a brief tweet, the Chief Executive Officer of the MCC Alice Albright and the SLPP Finance Minister Sheku Fantamadi Bangura have pre-inked a significant agreement for a $480 million Compact Programme dedicated to Sierra Leone to invigorate the nation’s electricity sector, with a dedicated foreign agency poised to ensure the effective management of these crucial funds. This agreement builds on the success of the $44.4 million Threshold Programme funded by MCC in 2016 and played an important role in improving the country’s water and electricity services. This latest was signed at the MCC head office in Washington.
