Threatening the Commission President Omar Alieu Touray is a no go area. But the illegal Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio engineered the insult of the ECOWAS boss. The rage from Abuja, the headquarters of ECOWAS, has backfired big time on Maada Bio’s illegitimate SLPP regime. Kamajor Commander Quee’s negative tirade directed at the respectable ECOWAS President was made public in his latest audio from America where Quee had the audacity to threaten the Commission because of the top level ECOWAS warning letter secretly sent to the Electoral Thief Maada Bio. Commander Quee was visibly vexed for the ECOWAS letter that reportedly contained stiff conditions for the imminent deployment of the ECOMISIL troops.

Commonly known as Commander Quee, this Quee individual was a lieutenant in the Sierra Leone Army before he went AWOL and later found himself in exile in the United States. Kamajor Commander Quee has plunged his boss Maada Bio into serious trouble for leaking the ECOWAS letter to the public, a letter that was meant for the eyes of Maada Bio only. The stern conditions in the secret ECOWAS letter include the execution of disarmament and demobilisation processes of the Sierra Leone soldiers and police officers. The re-training of the entire Kamajor security apparatus in the country is part and parcel of the stiff ECOWAS conditions. Consequently, ECOMISIL shall be mandated to take over all security affairs in the country and the internal security forces like the Office of National Security ONS shall take orders directly from ECOWAS Mission Chief Commander, the General from Nigeria.

The secret ECOWAS conditions in the letter simply mean that the failed Maada Bio will have limited powers until constitutional rule and democracy are restored. That is why the Bio presidency does not want the ECOMISIL deployments. Today, Maada Bio is flying helter-skelter around the world in an apparent attempt to derail the deployment process and to gain global recognition to no avail. As it stands, any delay will ignite ECOWAS enforcement, whether the illegal Maada Bio allows the deployment now or not.

Beleaguered Bio has signed all the documents so far with ECOWAS, etc. The sub-region has approved their respective soldiers in parliament prior to deployment. Kamajor Commander Quee’s insulting remarks against the ECOWAS Commission President Omar Alieu Touray has only exacerbated the anger and determination of ECOWAS to resolve the Sierra Leone fragile situation by any means necessary. Quee’s statement has thrown Maada Bio deeper into the cesspit of no return. It is likened to the popular adage ‘falling from the frying pot into the fire’. The imminent arrival of the ECOWAS Forces to Sierra Leone to restore democracy and constitutional rule has also sent jitters down the spines of the SLPP/Paopa supporters inside and outside the country knowing full well that Bio’s days at State House are truly numbered.

After Bio publicly stole the June 24, 2023 elections, which the main opposition APC leader Dr Samura Kamara won, Maada has splashed out millions of US dollars as a bribe to corrupt some officials of ECOWAS and other international stakeholders. But the stubbornness of the UN Security Council had put ECOWAS on track again. Today citizens are praying for the deployment of ECOWAS soldiers and police on time, in accordance with the September 30, 2024 deadline.

Obviously, the insults directed at ECOWAS leaders by Kamajor Commander Quee based in the US have done more harm than good for Maada Bio. The deliberate leakage by Bio of the ECOWAS secret letter has enraged the ECOWAS Commission. Bio woefully gave the ECOWAS letter to the Kamajor Commander Quee which was only meant for Bio’s eyes. Quee did not only talk about the secret ECOWAS letter in his last audio but he openly insulted, threatened and cursed the ECOWAS Commission President Omar Alieu Touray for the uncomfortable contents directed at Bio. In addition, the contents of the letter made it abundantly clear that ECOMISIL Mission in Sierra Leone will arrive primarily to restore democracy and constitutional rule. The ECOWAS contents are utterly a bitter peel for Maada Bio to swallow.

Consequently, Commander Quee’s outrageous insults have resulted in a total news blackout on the activities of ECOWAS imposed by the Commission. Today, there is scanty information coming out of Abuja regarding the deployment of the troops in Sierra Leone. However, Sierra Leone electorates who is yearning for Electoral Justice, should know that the deadline date between September 15 and September 30, 2024 still stands for the landing of the peacekeeping soldiers.
