Officials of the IMF who met with the unnecessary and bloated SLPP delegation in Washington DC made it abundantly clear that IMF would not endorse the 253 million dollars loan by reminding Maada Bio that the only pre-requisite to receiving any funding from the IMF is to fully implement the Tripartite recommendations including both the convergent and divergent areas.

The blatant snubbery by the IMF landed like a sucker punch which clearly shows that Maada Bio is still not recognised as the legitimate President of Sierra Leone. The SLPP delegation aided and abetted by the two-faced US Ambassador to Sierra Leone Bryan David Hunt was stunned that IMF could not lend the money to Maada Bio’s regime. Despite presenting the documents and collateral needed for the loan, Bio failed to fulfill the key conditionalities to satisfy IMF for the loan. The IMF stood firm and said ‘Not Now’.

People who are piously religious believe that God Almighty has definitely not given his blessing to Maada Bio’s presidency after the fraudulent June 24, 2023 multi-tier elections which Maada Bio stole publicly in connivance with the corrupt Chairman of the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone ECSL Mohamed Kenewui Konneh. After the 2018 elections, when Maada Bio fortunately took the reign of power at State House thanks to the ‘Regime Change’ agenda, the whole world immediately recognised and congratulated the Bio presidency. As a result, all democratic nations and international financial institutions poured in billions of dollars into Sierra Leone to prop up the Maada Bio’s regime. That was because, the Almighty God had destined Bio’s presidency in 2018.

Since June 24, 2023 however, the blessing of the hand of God had left Maada Bio big time, leaving his illegal SLPP regime completely naked especially in the aftermath of the chaotic elections last year which was invariably won by the main opposition APC leader Dr Samura Kamara. No wonder, no democratic country or global institution has recognised or even sent congratulatory messages to the SLPP bandits up to press time. What happened this weekend in Washington where the IMF snubbed Bio has left most Sierra Leoneans delighted for the stern position against the corrupt Bio crooks who stormed Washington DC to borrow cash from IMF, ostensibly for their own selfish use. The world continues to remind Bio about the implementation of the Tripartite recommendations which are intrinsically linked with global recognition of Sierra Leone.

The vexation of Sierra Leoneans was aggravated by the painful reality that top APC Executives were part of the bloated SLPP delegation that went to Washington to lobby for the IMF cash as well as to cajole the Millennium Challenge Corporation MCC not only for the 480 million dollars but for primarily to gain international recognition in order to legalise the illegitimacy of Bio’s illegal regime, but to no avail. “These APC traitors will never be forgiven for betraying us,” APC Grassroots swore.
