James Bond Star Pierce Brosnan in Hot Water After ‘Entering Restricted Thermal Area’ at US National Park

News

a press release

29 December 2023

James Bond star Pierce Brosnan has found himself in hot water after allegedly straying into an off-limits thermal area in a part of a famous US national park.

The actor could be jailed, fined or banned after allegedly trespassing into a scenic spot featuring mineral-encrusted hot springs, one of the hundreds of thermal features at Yellowstone National Park. The Irish actor has been charged with stepping out of bounds at Mammoth Terraces, in the northern part of Yellowstone National Park near the Wyoming-Montana border, last month, prosecutors have said.

The 70-year-old could be jailed, fined or banned when he appears in the courtroom of the world’s oldest national park next month. The 007 star, from Drogheda in County Louth, was visiting Yellowstone for pleasure rather than for movie work, the US Attorney’s Office for Wyoming said. Mammoth Terraces, a scenic spot of mineral-encrusted hot springs bubbling from a hillside, is one of the hundreds of thermal features in the park.

Millions visit the park every year, enjoying spouting geysers and gurgling mud pots, where water can be at or near boiling point. Leaving the designated areas can be dangerous, as people are badly burned every year after ignoring warnings not to stray off the trail. Jail time, hefty fines and bans from the park are regularly handed down to those who trespass. In addition to his Bond films, Brosnan starred in the 1980s TV series Remington Steele and is known for starring roles in the films Mrs Doubtfire and The Thomas Crown Affair.

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.
