As pressure mounts on the beleaguered SLPP regime of the illegal President Julius Maada Bio to step down amid the growing cocaine scandal linked to Sierra Leone, the Bio bandits are deploying strategies here and there to divert focus from the most important issues.

There is nothing more vital today than the removal of Bio from power by virtue of the fact that he lost the June 24, 2023, elections, presently exacerbated by the rising illicit narcotics trade in Sierra Leone. To divert focus from the rampant cocaine shipments from Freetown to West Africa onto Europe en route to the United States, an unworkable strategy is being applied by Bio’s regime to take away attention from the things that matter most.

Strategies like the orchestrated arrest and detention of drug trader Admire Bio and the funeral arrangement of Minkailu Mansaray are the two latest mind games to distract. Questions have arisen about why the Bio police ordered Admire Bio’s arrest at this time.

And why did the SLPP crooks and traitorous APC executives decide to announce the death of the APC Chairman, Minkailu Mansaray, at this momentous cocaine embarrassment time? But the criminals in the SLPP regime and the APC party decided to hide the truth from the public by keeping Minkailu’s corpse in a freezer for many months, only to make his death public last week by giving the impression that Mr Hook died recently. It is a big, fat lie.

All is part of the strategy by the Bio presidency to distract the focus of the vibrant bloggers, home and abroad, from paying attention to the most burning issue of our time, i.e. the seizures of the cocaine trafficking ships around the world originating from Sierra Leone.

And regarding Maada Bio’s sister, Admire Bio’s dubious arrest and detention last week, why now? Is Maada Bio pretending to be a law-and-order president by arresting his sister to prove to the international community that his failed regime is fighting the drug trade? (Photo: Fake wanted notice).

Maada Bio is merely fooling himself and his blind cronies, who cannot see beyond their noses. These two events do not add up, considering the dubious circumstances of the sudden announcements of Admire Bio’s arrest and Minkailu’s death.

Why was Admire Bio nabbed? Sources say Admire Bio duped some foreign drug dealers out of thousands of dollars, and the SLPP police pounced on her after complaints from the foreign agents. And now Admire Bio’s druggie boyfriend Douda Jalloh is declared a wanted man.

All is geared towards distracting the people from paying keen attention to the humiliating cocaine situation Maada Bio has plunged Sierra Leone into. Thankfully, the restoration of democracy is on track, and the international community will give Dr Samura Kamara his power.
