The silence of this specific group, with reckless abandon, is the disgraceful group of the year. Who is this specific group being referred to? They are the shameful Muslim Council members, comprising certain Imams, Clerics, Sheikhs, and Alhajis, etc., who ought to know better.

It is clear that these so-called ‘Godly’ people are not only afraid to speak out because of cowardice as a result of selling their birthrights to the Bio regime, but they are also proving to be more politically affiliated with the SLPP/Paopa regime than being a free and fair religious body.

Now, to wake them up from their slumber, the gallant members of the Global Rapid Hunt Unit have been meeting with Muslim leaders and reminding them about the pivotal role their colleague, Mr Mohamed Moriba, had played in promoting Islam in Sierra Leone. (Photo: Rapid Hunt PRO Mr Moseray Kanu).

Rapid Hunters asked them why they had decided to keep mute on Mr Moriba’s unjust captivity, a man they knew had personally assisted in supervising the building of so many mosques around the country. The Rapid Hunt Unit PRO and Coordinator, Mr Moseray Kanu, said the meetings went well.

The Muslim leaders praised Mr Moriba, a retired soldier of the Sierra Leone Army and one of the most popular social media bloggers in the country. Mr Moriba’s efforts to amalgamate the tribal divisions planted by the failed SLPP regime of Bio are all crystal clear and second to none.

Not to mention his insatiable wish to see the development of Islam in the country. Over and above all these patriotic attributes, Mr Moriba is a fervent believer in democracy and an electoral justice fighter. This is where the barbaric Bio regime has a vengeful hate for Mr Moriba.

Today, the patriotic Sierra Leonean is suffering behind bars because he had turned down the main condition offered to him to be released from prison, i.e. to keep him silent to gain freedom. On Monday and Tuesday, June 16 & 17, the Global Rapid Hunt Unit, on the orders of their CEO, Alhaji MS Bangura, based in Germany, decided to trigger the southeast branch to talk to the various Muslim leaders in the country to do something positive to help free their Muslim brother, Mr Moriba.

PRO Mr Moseray Kanu disclosed: “I am proud to inform all members of the electoral justice members in Kenema, where a big meeting represented by religious leaders and chairmen from different parts of Sierra Leone, was held.

“The main purpose of the meeting was to offer prayers for our brother, Mohamed Moriba, for his great contributions towards renovating and building Masjids. We received people from the southeast and also from the northwest,” Mr Moseray Kanu noted. Mr Moriba is also the PRO for the APC Party in Bo District. Other media activists in prison include Mr Mombassa and Mr Nice Man.
