This was what took place in Miami, Florida, where President Donald Trump, the guest speaker invited by the Saudi Arabian business tycoons at the FII Priority conference, was given a secret note with Maada Bio’s name printed on it by the Saudi organisers a few days ago. Among the names President Trump recognised, Bio’s name was mentioned.

When President Trump mentioned Maada Bio’s name, all hell broke loose, and the impact was felt throughout Sierra Leone and in the Diaspora, where the June 24, 2023, voters whose votes were stolen by Maada Bio could not understand what had happened in Miami.

The 17-second video footage that went viral on social media, showing President Trump calling Bio’s name at the FII Priority meeting, was shocking. The video not only showed Trump mentioning Bio’s name, but it also showed Trump ridiculing the cowardly Maada Bio.

Trump, checking the note on his right-hand side to make sure he called the name correctly, said: “President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio. I like this name, Julius Maada Bio.” The 17-second video caused more harm than good, leaving most citizens in despair.

However, after close investigation, the big secret was out. The powerless Maada Bio had bribed his US lobbyists two million dollars for this FII Priority Investment Conference, which they knew would invite President Trump as their guest speaker, a perfect chance for Bio!

Maada Bio had tried very hard in the past to meet President Trump face-to-face, primarily to gain international recognition to legitimise his illegality. Still, he had failed at every attempt until his US lobbyists told him about the annual FII Priority Meeting organised by the Saudis.

Bio made sure he went to Miami with a two-million-dollar bribe. Thankfully, the cat is out of the bag. President Trump calling Maada Bio’s name means nothing. What was Maada Bio’s primary motive in Miami? The lack of international congratulatory messages from democratic nations has severely dented the reputation of the Bio presidency, plunging the SLPP regime’s illegality into further doubt, misery, and global shame.

Poor Maada Bio, who is seriously sick with cancer, has spent millions of dollars on foreign lobbyists, not to mention the numerous gold and diamond bribes, to exclusively have access to President Trump, which he thinks would legitimise his illegality automatically. But no way!

Moreover, besides President Trump mentioning his name, Maada Bio’s trip to Miami was not a success, as some believe, because he never had the chance to take even a photo with President Trump, which he wanted but never had the opportunity. Bio has failed in Miami.

Therefore, the people of Sierra Leone, especially the electoral justice fighters, should not despair or be discouraged because EJ has won the battle, and very shortly, the restoration of democracy and the crowning of the President-elect, Dr Samura Kamara, shall happen shortly.
