What is imminent in the not-too-distant future would be far worse than the eleven years of bloody civil and rebel war brought upon Sierra Leone by most of the current bunch of SLPP party officials led by Julius Maada Bio, Alie Kabba and a host of other RUF rebel pioneers. In the early nineties, these bad Sierra Leoneans wore the Revolutionary United Front RUF rebels’ garments to unleash the deadliest war on innocent people. These bad Sierra Leone SLPP politicians are using provocation as a tool to weaponise a tribal war which they hope would prolong their stay in power. How short-sighted they have become! Last night, the illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio ordered the arrest of former Sierra Leone President Ernest Bai Koroma of the APC government for no justifiable reasons. The illegitimate SLPP regime is alleging that Ernest Koroma should answer some questions regarding the November 26, 2023, military disturbance which was first described by Maada Bio as a ‘security breach’ but a few hours later, his illegal SLPP regime changed it to a ‘coup d’etat’. Political analysts believe this harassment and intimidation of Ernest Koroma and other APC leaders will trigger a bloody tribal war. Nothing will distract the ongoing Tripartite investigations.

The corrupt and bloodthirsty Maada Bio has always provoked situations to cause chaos ostensibly to prolong his stay in power. With this latest provocation to arrest APC leaders, the RUF pioneer Maada Bio is expecting north and north-westerners to slug it out with south-easterners, an inevitable tribal war between the northern tribes namely Temnes, Lokos, Limbas etc as against the Mendes, and Kissis in the southeast. This will surely materialise if the continuous provocations by Maada Bio’s violent SLPP regime do not stop. The arrest last night of Ernest Koroma for investigations at the Criminal Investigations Department CID in Freetown will not augur well in the north and the northwest of the country. Nothing will distract the ongoing Tripartite investigations.

Thanks immensely to the blatant provocation by the illegal Sierra Leone President Bio, this odd situation will not distract the implementation of the Tripartite Investigating Committee set up to probe the fraudulent June 24, 2023 elections that Maada Bio stole. Last night, a large convoy of vehicles comprising armed SLPP military and police officers stormed the residence of Ernest Koroma in Makeni City in the north and whisked him to the capital Freetown. The former President Koroma was taken to the Criminal Investigations Department CID in Freetown to undergo investigations, for reasons which are yet to be made clear. This latest sudden arrest had come hours after the corrupt Inspector General of Police William Fayia Sellu had given the former Head of State Ernest Koroma 24 hours to appear at the police CID to answer some questions. And Ernest Koroma was preparing in Makeni to alight at the CID this morning. But the urgency of Maada Bio’s instruction to arraign Ernest Koroma to the CID last night instead of arriving this morning has proved that Maada Bio is more determined to disgrace and embarrass and provoke his predecessor who peacefully handed power to him on April 04, 2018. Unfortunately, Maada Bio did not concentrate on governing democratically but rather embarked on vengeance, bad-heart politics, human rights violations, mass murders and rife corruption which has rendered him a big failure so far. Nothing will distract the ongoing Tripartite investigations.

The stupid and power-thirsty Maada Bio is doing all this distraction to divert the focus of the country from the ongoing Tripartite Investigations Committee mandated to probe the June 24, 2023 elections which Maada Bio publicly stole. The Three-Cross-Party committee include seven officials from the SLPP, seven from the APC and seven from the International Community. Maada Bio knows that the outcome would not be favourable to his SLPP regime to stay in power as the global partners are determined to restore democracy to Sierra Leone by any means necessary. That is why Maada Bio is deploying his RUF rebel tactics to distract and usher chaos in the country. But the APC party would not fall into this trap. An invitation which many people described as FIT-EYE, HUMILIATING, disrespectful, and MALICIOUS.
