The opposite happened at the Presidential Lodge in Freetown three days ago. A birthday party was surprisingly held at the State Lodge on November 27, 2023, a day after the so-called military coup in Freetown. Whose birthday was that? ‘Mob Justice’ Fatima Jabbe Bio, the wife of the illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio held the flamboyant party. How on earth could a sane person hold such an enjoyable party hours after a military coup had taken place and while so many of the so-called coupists were still on the run? What message does this party send? Two things. First, Fatima Jabba Bio was telling the world that there was no military coup as claimed. Second, they were celebrating the success of a fake coup. Look at the sequence of events during the bloody incident on Sunday, November 26, 2023, when many innocent citizens had been killed in a purported ‘breach of security’ and later changed into a ‘military coup’. It became apparent that the November 26 coup was orchestrated by Maada Bio himself. Sierra Leoneans woke up in an atmosphere of deafening sounds coming from sporadic gunshots in the alleged coup plot against the illegal Bio regime. The SLPP said the assailants attacked Wilberforce Military Barracks where they emptied the armoury. Then they moved to Cockerill Military Base a few miles away where military officer Colonel Samai was killed. Amid all these troubles, killings and certainty were going on while at the same time, the ‘Mob Justice’ First Lady Fatima Bio was busy planning her birthday. On Monday, 27th  November, Fatima Bio oblivious to the unfolding deadly events in Freetown, her expensive birthday went ahead at the Presidential Lodge, the official home of the President. It is therefore no surprise that the so-called assailants never went to the Presidential Lodge to overthrow Maada Bio, a stone’s throw from the Wilberforce Barrack where weapons had been stolen by the coupists! How odd this sequence looks! It means the November 26 coup was fake and stage-managed by Bio himself to garner sympathy and international support. Why did the coupists attack the opposition politicians and not the illegal regime? This is the question that Maada Bio must explain.

How daft Fatima Bio would look! Perhaps, Fatima Bio is not daft as she knew what was happening. That was why she celebrated her birthday a day after the fake coup. Keen observers say she is no daft but that her behaviour of ignoring the problems surrounding the bloody incident suggests that the November 26 coup was orchestrated by the Bio family and SLPP fools to implicate the main opposition APC party. It shows that the incident was well-planned, systematic and deliberate. So those who believe that Maada Bio was about to be overthrown by retired and serving military officers are living in Cloud Cuckoo Land. Many things took place that suggested it was not a coup. How come the coupists did not attack the State House, Vice President Juldeh Jalloh or any of the three prominent Radio Stations beggars beliefs? Instead, the so-called assailants went straight to the APC leader Dr Samura Kamara’s house in Freetown to harm him but luckily he was not found there. The so-called coup makers also drove to the former Sierra Leone President Ernest Koroma’s premises where his security guard was killed. The question remains, why didn’t the coupists go straight to the State House to look for Maada Bio and others? Explanations are needed here Mr illegal President. Meanwhile, the international community knows what is happening. They know that the ongoing Tripartite Investigations Committee is tightening the noose around Maada Bio’s neck. “No distraction, no coup would prevent the Investigations to complete,” a top diplomat said.
