Stark Difference Between Liberian Elections & the Sierra Leone Elections; It’s Like Day & Night

Quick Summary

There are more differences between the Liberia elections and the Sierra Leone polls than there are similarities. It is like comparing day to night.

Everything about the Sierra Leone elections under the dictatorship of Julius Maada Bio is evil and wicked unlike the shining example shown in Liberian elections under President George Oppong Manneh Weah. When the former leader of the APC Ernest Koroma called for the general elections in 2018, he did it with all honesty, the same thing with George Weah. The National Elections Commission NEC office was not dominated by one ethnic tribe but diverse. (Photo: President Weah is a democrat while Maada Bio is a killer).

Ernest Koroma allowed a free and fair election campaign in every corner of the country. Ernest did not impede any of his opponents from campaigning in their strongholds. It is the same with George Weah. George Weah allowed Joseph Boakai to campaign everywhere in Liberian. Weah never encouraged his CDC supporters to mount roadblocks or impede them from entering any of their strongholds, towns and villages as was done by brute Maada Bio.

When George Weah, was the incumbent President of Liberia his wife never made hate speeches to her opponents that “those who are not supporters of the Unity Party UP are not Liberians. During Joseph Boakai’s campaign, George Weah’s supporters did not manned roadblocks preventing Boakai from entering certain towns nor were his party offices burned down as what happened in Bo and Segbwema in Sierra Leone under Maada Bio. George Weah allowed Joseph Boakai free access. (Photo: Bio has destroyed Sierra Leone democracy).

During the campaign in Liberia, George Weah never sent the police or the military to suppress Boakia’s supporters with guns. In fact, they were not allowed close to the election booths or stations. In Liberia, the Police or the Military never took sides of any political party unlike in Sierra Leone under Maada Bio.  In Liberia during the election, the military never attacked the headquarters of Joseph Boakai’s Unity Party office killing people, even though they were the incumbent. Maada Bio ambushed and burnt down APC offices in Sierra Leone.

George Weah did not call in the Chief Justice to swear him in as President whilst the votes were still being counted, unlike Maada Bio who forcefully took the oath of office when the counting was still going on. Weah did not suppress the opposition to accept the outcome of the election. George Weah’s supporters and ministers were not seen breaking ballot boxes at polling stations. Neither did he force the Proportional Representation PR system in order to rig the Liberia elections.

In Liberia, George Weah never had well-armed paramilitary forces like Maada Bio’s brutal  “Soja Team”, who were involved in many summary executions of their opponents and innocent civilians like APC social media activist Evangelist Samson, real Hassan Dumbuya who was gunned down by a soldier in Makeni on August 14, 2022, in broad daylight. So, there are lot of lessons there for us all to learn from the Liberian elections. Bravo to George Wean and shame on you Maada Bio.

ECOWAS Summit Update: Cocaine Bio is Scared of Handing the ECOWAS Chair to Senegal President Faye; Bio Prefers Anglophone to Francophone Successor!

The illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio, who publicly stole the June 24, 2023 general and presidential elections, is a confused man today. Cocaine King Maada Bio is not only disoriented and jittery at this point when ECOWAS commissioners are in Freetown for the 69th summit, but Bio’s SLPP regime is entirely on the brink of causing more confusion within the ECOWAS commission. The illegitimate Sierra Leone President Bio is shamefully dragging his feet over the handing over of the ECOWAS chairmanship to the rightful individual, in the person of Senegalese President Bassirou Faye, who should have got it since last year when Bio bribed to get it. Diplomatic sources have hinted that Maada Bio, the current ECOWAS chairman who dubiously secured the position last year by bribing Nigerian President Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is not planning to transfer the ECOWAS chair to President Faye. ECOWAS leaders are expected in Freetown on July 19, 2026.

EBK’s Fake Freedom Won’t Distract EJ Win; His Arrest for Betraying Democracy Looms; Tinubu Happy to See EBK’s Back; Hope He Returns Sooner to Face Citizens

The fake freedom suspiciously arranged for Ernest Bai Koroma EBK is not only a fruitless distraction, but EBK’s immediate return will suit 2023 voters. It is a massive trump card indeed, especially for electoral justice campaigners who will eventually see judicial revenge for those who undermine the June 24, 2023, general and presidential elections. EBK is obviously the first accused and chief architect of selling the 2023 votes to his cocaine paymaster, Julius Maada Bio. That is why the dubious freedom dished out to cruel EBK by the electoral commander-in-thief Julius Maada Bio is wholeheartedly welcomed by electoral justice EJ fighters whose main ambition is to restore democracy and to put on trial the betrayers of the people’s mandate. At first glance, it is clear that EBK’s recent freedom, granted by the corrupt SLPP and APC parliamentarians, is a high-class trap for him. The dramatic overturning of the ridiculous treason charge against EBK in parliament, rather than in the High Court, is a monumental blunder, deception and distraction.
