Bio’s ‘Peaceful Sierra Leone’ Exposed: Police Arresting & Tear Gassing Protesters Dent Bio; As Worried ECOWAS Meets Today

Bravo to the patriotic protesters who stormed Cotton Tree yesterday to demand for their elections data from the crook Electoral Commission.
Amid the violent atmosphere created by the trigger-happy Maada Bio’s dodgy security forces, the brave protesters, the heroes of democracy, were not deterred by the Bio guns here and there ostensibly intended to put fear into the protesters. (Photo: Patriotic protesters yesterday and the Kamajor police).
Despite the harassment and intimidation by Maada Bio’s Kamajor police, the patriotic citizens marched through the city and eventually gathered at the Cotton Tree, a stone’s throw to State House, where they bravely held their posters. In protests, the number does not matter. Even one person can protest and gets results. Thankfully, yesterday’s protest has gone viral.
Fortunately, the messages from the protesters including the violent footage that emanated from the Bio brutality, have reached the corridors of ECOWAS Commission. The messages on the placards like ‘We Want Our Elections Result’ ‘ECSL Give US Our Data’ etc. were clear.
The peaceful protesters were chanting loudly above their voices even though the number out yesterday was expectedly minimal because of police brutality and the threats to harm the protesters. However, the messages went to ECOWAS that starts their meeting today.
In the heat of the protests, Maada Bio’s irate OSD police alighted at the scenes and attacked the peaceful protesters, sprayed them with tear gas and arrested some of the peaceful protesters. The footage of the Bio violence was beamed on to ECOWAS in Abuja. (Photo: Leaders Mr Thomas Babadi and Mr Maddie Williams still detained).

Live at the protest yesterday were top officials of the APC Council of Media Bloggers and Auxiliary led by the Chairman APC Malaka Duplicate, Secretary General Ambassador Alie, Mr Red, Young Man Barbatov etc. Malaka was seen recording the police spraying tear gas.
As for the other protesters who could not gather at Cotton Tree due to hard times and unavailability of transportations, the APC Grassroots President Samura APC and comedians King Kondos in Waterloo and the outskirts met and interviewed them. It shows Sierra Leone is not peaceful and safe which contradicts Bio’s message to ECOWAS.
The Almighty God has actually exposed the barbarity and inhumanity of the Maada Bio regime Sierra Leoneans yesterday as protesters peacefully protested against the useless Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone’s ECSL asking for the disaggregated data.
Concern Sierra Leoneans, the organisers of the peaceful protest, took up this noble task to demand the ECSL commissioners to produce last year’s elections data district by district, polling station by polling station. Shame on the APC Executives, for betraying the voters!
Unfortunately, the ECSL chairman Mohamed Konneh is still playing stubborn to release the election data. It would have proved whether the incumbent Bio truly won the June 24, 2023 polls or whether the main challenger, Dr Samura Kamara of the APC won it. ECOWAS looks.
