Relations Turn Sour; Mahama Distances Ghana from Bio, Amid Seizure of Drugs in France from Sierra Leone, Via Ghana; Restoring Democracy is a Must

Quick Summary

The bilateral relationship between the Ghanaian President John Dramane Mahama and the illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio has turned so sour and bitter.

Sierra Leone’s international reputation has metamorphosed from saintly admiration into a devilish, smelly situation in the last eight years under the auspices of the illegitimate Sierra Leone President and cocaine merchant-in-chief Maada Bio.

There is no good image remaining for Sierra Leone today. The unenviable position of Sierra Leone being the hub of transhipment of drugs in West Africa and beyond has reached a point of no return. The little excellent reputation of Sierra Leone has evaporated into the atmosphere.

Ghana is the latest country to stick the knife into Maada Bio’s Sierra Leone, where cocaine production, distribution and sale of the dangerous drugs occur in the country and outside daily. Yesterday, Ghana issued a press statement confirming the arrests of three drug barons.

Those nabbed, according to the Narcotics Control Commission NACOC, are closely associated with Jos Leijdekker aka Bolle Jos, the son-in-law of Maada Bio. Also known as Omar Sheriff, according to his Sierra Leone diplomatic passport, Bolle is married to Bio’s daughter, Agnes. (Photo: Bolle Jos and his wife Agnes Bio in Bonthe Church).

The Ghanaian reaction has come amid the latest seizure of tons of drugs in France that emanated from Sierra Leone, passing secretly through Ghana. President John Mahama is very angry that his former friend Bio had used his country as a transit point to smuggle drugs to France.

An estimated 3.9 tons of cocaine worth around 225 million Euros that went via Ghana on to France was intercepted by French Customs a few days ago. It is confirmed that the cocaine consignment emanated from the drug-producing nation of Sierra Leone, controlled by Maada Bio.

The ongoing national and international embarrassment for Sierra Leone today is caused by Maada Bio’s ridiculous branding of the once reputable nation, from admiration to becoming the most disgraceful country in West Africa. Here is the press statement from Ghana’s NACOC exposing Bolle Jos and Maada Bio.

Dated September 14, 2026, the NACOC statement is entitled: “NACOC Arrests Three Suspects Linked to Bolle Jos Network. The Narcotics Control Commission NACOC has arrested three suspects for allegedly representing and facilitating the activities of Dutch fugitive Jos Leijdekker, popularly known as Bolle Jos in Ghana. (Photo: The friendship between President Mahama and Maada Bio is over).

“The arrests follow the reported seizure by French customs of a cocaine shipment allegedly linked to a wider network. The three suspects are in NACOC custody, assisting investigators examine their alleged roles in the trafficking. The arrests reaffirm NACOC’s resolve that Ghana will not be a safe haven, transit point or operational base for international drug-trafficking organisations.

“The Commission will continue working with domestic and international law-enforcement partners to disrupt the people, finances and infrastructure sustaining the illicit drug trade, while safeguarding the rights and legal protections of all persons under investigation,” the press release ends. It was signed by PNCO Francis Opoku Amoah, Ag Director, Public Affairs & International Relations.

The only solution to resolve these numerous Sierra Leone problems, ranging from electoral thievery and human rights violations to the increase in drug networks, is the restoration of democracy. President-elect Dr Samura Kamara, winner of the June 24, 2023 election, is the only answer. (Photo: Bolle Jos in the Bonthe Church with his father-in-law Maada Bio).

Before the drug seizure in France, Bio wanted to visit Ghana to see President Mahama. Yet, the Ghanaian leader told Bio to wait until after the recent African Union conference in Angola. In Luanda, President Mahama was briefed about Bio’s nefarious activities.

Upon his return, Mahama found out about the drug capture in France that transited through Ghana from Sierra Leone. President Mahama became infuriated and immediately confronted Maada Bio on the phone, blasting him for using Ghana as a transit point for drugs.

Now, Ghana has said no to Bio’s cocaine smuggling ring being spread worldwide. Bio’s son-in-law, Bolle Jos, is linked to the three drug associates arrested in Ghana. Tension has increased following the seizure of drugs in France from Sierra Leone.

As the bilateral relations between President Mahama and Maada Bio turn sour, the only possible way to resolve the drugs impasse in Sierra Leone, among other serious problems, is the restoration of democracy NOW and on schedule.

UN Appearance Means Zero; The Bios’ Illegality Remains at the UN; Brutes Like Gaddafi Spoke at the UN; Next Minute He was Killed; Sierra Leoneans, Don’t Worry

The United Nations is designed to always allow every Jack and Jill in its midst; dictators, tyrants, despots, killers, evil forces, often attend, but their hatred & illegitimacy still remain. Bloodthirsty and illegal President Julius Maada Bio and his mob-justice wife, Fatima Jabbe Bio, are classic examples of dictators known to member states of the United Nations and the world. But as the UN never bans tyrants, the Bios can still appear, but it makes no difference at all. Honest history has taught us one salient fact about attendees at the United Nations General Assembly. Not everyone who attends or addresses the UN General Assembly summit is loved or recognised as legitimate, democratic or a decent human being. Despite the immense freedom to attend the UN, many world leaders are reluctant to appear at the UN summit in New York for security reasons, mainly. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, President Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong-Un of North Korea are examples.

Marathon Race Ends Soon: New ECOWAS President General Diop from Senegal Takes Over from Gambian Traitor Touray; Real Work Began Yesterday

The real work of the newly refreshed Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS has commenced following the official handing over yesterday in Abuja. It was a milestone for West Africans and the world yesterday to witness the handover of power from the Gambian traitor, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, to General Birame Diop at the new ECOWAS Commission Headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Commission held the formal welcome and send-off ceremony for incoming and outgoing statutory appointees and Heads of ECOWAS Institutions, following the completion of the former leadership’s four-year tenure. It was during the historic event that General Birame DIOP of Senegal officially assumed office as the new President of the ECOWAS Commission, amid applause, succeeding Dr Omar Alieu Touray of The Gambia. Since President Bassirou Faye of Senegal succeeded the useless, unfit, and illegal Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio as ECOWAS chair on July 19, 2026, in Lungi, Sierra Leone, very little has been done to move the rejuvenated ECOWAS forward.

The Truth Media, what a fine nomenclature, but the presenter Mr Amadu Lamarana Bah recently made the Truth Media less true. The irony is astronomically disgraceful.
