A Top SLPP/APC Politician J.B. Dauda Passed Away in Ghana

Joseph Bandabla Dawda, popularly known as ‘Jam Body for Development’ during his political years in Kenema, has passed away in Ghana.

 

Family and government have confirmed this sad news about a top Sierra Leone politician who was lucky to serve three presidents in various capacities including Vice President and Finance Minister and Foreign Minister. (Pictured: JB Dauda, may his soul rest in peace).

As a member of the APC party he served under late President Joseph Saidu Momoh up to the rank of Vice President. He later served under President Ernest Koroma as Minister of Foreign Affairs and later as Internal Affairs Minister. 

In between, as a member of the SLPP, he served late SLPP President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah as Finance Minister and even aspired to become presidential candidate for the SLPP party.
