“Long Awaited School Items Arrive Soon,” Holy Trinity Principal Assures
By Philip Koroma (02/05/17)
The Holy Trinity Junior Secondary School principal and his vice have assured stakeholders the school items will arrive soon in Kenema.
In a tripartite meeting with the CTA chairperson and some key stakeholders and journalist Philip Koroma, the school assured that they are making available the school colours paid for pupils ahead of last year's Trinity Old Boys Association (TOBA) celebrations.
According to the principal, Mr. Septimus Vandy, his administration indeed collected a meagre sum for school colours and deposited half of the total amount into the account of the supplier currently residing in Liberia.
He said the deposition of the part payment into the account of the supplier was done with his approval whilst responding to medical treatment outside the country.
He admitted that the school colours had long overdue and expressed disappointment in the suppliers delay to make available the school colours within the stipulated time.
Mr. Vandy has however vowed to ensure the school colours are available by May ending as another supplier based in the country has been contracted to supply the items.
Some of the parents including the CTA chairman were so happy that school administration has resolved to contact another supplier.
They have promised to contact journalist Philip Koroma to be present for the time of distribution as they commend him for putting them on their toes with malice or grudge especially as an old boy of the school.
“We were disappointed and embarrassed by the supplier,” the school administrators emphasised.
