Minister Frank Kargbo Sacked and Replaced by Anti-Corruption Boss

President Ernest Koroma's reshuffle axe has fallen on many prominent names; for some it's New Year comes early.
According to a State House press release, the most prominent casualty in today's cabinet reshuffle is Mr. Frank Kargbo, who was sacked as Attorney General and Minister of Justice, one of the longest untouched portfolios. (Pictured: New Justice Minister seated by President Koroma).
Mr. Frank Kargbo was replaced by Joseph F. Kamara of the Anti Corruption Commission ACC who takes over as Attorney General & Minister of Justice with immediate effect.
Another prominent casualty is Dr. Sam Sesay who was replaced by Monty Jones as the new Minister of Agriculture and Food Security. The erstwhile Agriculture Minister Sam Sesay will now replaced Mr. Ibrahim Ben Kargbo at State House. Mr. IB. Kargbo is now an elected member of parliament.
Mr. Mohamed Gibril Sesay, the former State House Director of Research and Presidential Speechwriter is now State Minister 1 at the Foreign Affairs Ministry. And the Lunsar MP, Hon. Isata Kabia will be State Minister 2 at Foreign Affairs.
Minister of State for Finance Mr. Patrick Conteh will take over position once held by the current Bank Governor. President Koroma also confirmed the nomination of Justice Abdulai Charm as Chief Justice.
