Press Freedom is Far Worse Under the SLPP than Under the APC Party in Sierra Leone!

By a press release (21/11/18)

Press freedom in Sierra Leone has had lots of hiccups over the years and it's even worse under SLPP governments than under the APC.

Recently, the BBC correspondent in Sierra Leone Umaru Fofana, a sympathiser of the SLPP party, highlighted media suppression under the APC government. (Photo: Information and Broadcasting Minister Mohamed Rado Swarray, left, with Kelvin Lewis, president of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists).

However, APC supporters fought back and tabulated below the excesses of the SLPP media suppression. More journalists suffered under SLPP governments, according to APC supporters.

Under the leadership of late President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, the SLPP broke every laws in our books to silent critical opposition. In just 3 months, the list below, will educate you all as to how brutal the SLPP had been.

Now let’s not forget that President Julius Maada Bio is actually 10 times more brutal and undemocratic than President Tejan Kabbah. Far more!!!
