Citizens Appalled that Bo Council Chairman Plans to Grab a Land from Ordinary Citizen!
By a press release (10/08/18)
The grab land allegation by the Bo City Council Chairman against an ordinary elderly citizen has left many Bo citizens annoyed and appalled!
Citizens have received news that the Chairman of Bo District Council, Joseph Munda Bindi (photo) wants to grab a land legally owned by an ordinary citizen even though the owner Madam Lauretta Koroma has confirmed legal ownership through the Ministry of Lands and the Provincial Secretary’s office.
Curious citizens understand that Mr. Munda Bindi has falsified documents and is using his political connection and has appealed to a highly placed individual we shall name in due course, to go to Bo and decide in his favour.
Reports say Lauretta Koroma, a resident of Bo City, bought the piece of land located at Sewa Road in 1983 and her ownership has been confirmed by the Lands Departmemt in Bo. The said piece of Land is also registered in the Bo City master plan
Citizens are at loss for words to explain this and are calling on Munda Bindi to explain why he wants to decide a land case that has an owner and to question why an old widow is being bullied for her bonafide property.
Citizens are warning Joseph Munda Bindi to do what is right or we shall force him to do so by making him understand why we voted for change in this nation. Lonta!!
