By a press release (17/03/18)
Opposition parties are calling on for the immediate removal of APC Minister's brother as National Electoral Commission boss in the north.

"This is a conflict of interest and Mr. Mohamed Nfa Alie Conteh, the Chief Electoral Commission and Chairperson should immediately remove Mr. Macksood Gibril Sesay from his position.
"We have evidence that the two blood brothers Mr. Macksood Gibril Sesay - Electoral Commissioner North and his sibling Dr. Mohamed Gibril Sesay have provided fake or photocopy RRFs to tally votes amongst other irregularities in Kambia, Karene, Port Loko, Bombali, Falaba. Koinadugu and Tonkolili.
"We demand an immediate re-count in Kambia, Karene, Port Loko, Bombali, Falaba. Koinadugu and Tonkolili and the immediate removal of Mr. Macksood Gibril Sesay. We have provided the detailed evidence to Mr. Mohamed M.N Conteh chief electoral commission and chairperson.
"Conflict of interest is a situation in which someone cannot make a fair decision because they will be affected by the result. Mohamed Gibril Sesay (APC) and Mr. Macksood Gibril Sesay (NEC) are blood brothers and both will gain from APC winning the elections.
