Consumers Express Great Satisfaction for the Sierra Leone Brewery’s Products

By Ranger (16/01/18)

Consumers of the Sierra Leone Brewery Limited products have expressed delight in the performance of the Brewery in Sierra Leone.

They say SLBL has maintained supply of its products to virtually every corner of Sierra Leone, without anyone complaining about shortage of Star Beer, Guinness Stout and other SLBL products that are in very high demand across the country.

Before now, demand and supply of SLBL products during the festive seasons have been gallopy due to the shortage of their products for consumers. However, since the introduction and enforcement of the Local Content Policy Act, the SLBL stepped up its production efforts by purchasing new plants and also engaged in training staff and encouraging local farmers to increase production of sorghum used in producing beer and other beverages.

Competent sources at the SLBL have stated that the main reason why they were able to succeed in maintaining supply of all their products across the country is because the government stepped up its efforts to enforce the Local Content Policy Act. The SLBL also purchased and installed a state-of-the-art production plant which greatly assisted the company to achieve its current state of high production and supply.

Meanwhile, SLBL authorities have announced that they are on top of the situation as evident during the festive season when demand for their products went higher. No shortage was reported as wholesalers, distributors and consumers had what they wanted on time.

Reports say all of them have registered their total satisfaction and confidence in SLBL and in their ability to maintain the status quo in the production and supply of our local beer and other products.
