Mayor of Kenema City Council Receives Vital Focus Magazine from a Diaspora Member

Kenema City Council Mayor Thomas Mbayoh has recently received a member of the Diaspora Focus Magazine in his Kenema office.

 

Reports say Foday M. Kamara, the Diaspora Focus Magazine executive explains the historic visit in Kenema, the headquarter town of eastern Sierra Leone: "On behalf of the CEO of Diaspora Focus, Mr. Emmanuel J.M. Stafford, delivered a magazine to the Mayor of Kenema City Council on the 3rd December, 2018.

"Upon my arrival in the office of the Mayor, I introduced myself and presented the magazine to him. Meanwhile, I explained the activities of Diaspora Focus Magazine to the Mayor.

"I told him that one of the activities of the magazine is to give awards to deserving citizens, who have assiduously worked in various sphere of influence. I further stated that Diaspora Focus Magazine also normally provide scholarships to various students in Sierra Leone, thereby supporting the government agenda of free quality education. This however, serves as a motivational force for students to treat their academic work with respect and seriousness," Mr. Foday Kamara noted.

The Mayor of Kenema City Council, Mr. Thomas Mbayoh, expressed his appreciation for the CEO of Diaspora Focus to send him such an important magazine document, which is full of developmental issues.

He further explained the importance of this magazine as this will help government officials to demonstrate integrity and work very hard to provide efficiency and effectiveness in their jobs so that they would be recognised by the management of Diaspora Focus magazine.
